Healthcarers reward. Holidays are the best way we can help
We are honoured to be able to give healthcarers a 30% discount off a beach glamping holiday in Antigua to thank them for saving lives. If you have registered for Healthcarers Reward this blog tells you what to do next. If you haven't yet registered click here fill in the form and then read on.
We are a tiny little island, with a population of just over 100,000 people. 45% of our GDP is earned through travel and tourism and the pandemic has hit us hard. As we rely so heavily on tourism you can appreciate why we are working hard to keep Antigua COVID free. We closed our borders on 24th March and they will remain closed until early June. There hasn’t been a single new case of COVID-19 for 3 weeks now; we have had 25 cases and sadly 3 deaths.
As borders around the world now slowly begin to re-open there is still a sense of trepidation. Will there be a second wave of COVID-19? If so, will hospitals, and their staff be able to handle this again? There is still so much uncertainty, but one thing remains absolutely certain; that is our heartfelt gratitude to healthcarers all over the world.
We believe that healthcarers and their families deserve a well earned break. We all need something to look forward to and this is the very least we can do.
The healthcarers reward is for any healthcarer at any level in their profession who has been on the front line of fighting COVID-19.
What’s included in your healthcarers reward
Healthcarers Reward is our way of saying thank you. It is a 30% discount off a 7-day glamping holiday on a stunning beach in Antigua. We are also working with local tour providers to get a discount off other activities too, but for now, the promise is 30% off your accommodation.
There are just 6 luxury tents on a half mile beach. 5 tents have a double bed, and the family tent has a king sized bed and two twins. The whole site capacity is just 14 people.
Flights are not included in this offer.
As for meals, your booking includes complimentary breakfasts each day. We can also provide a fantastic beach BBQ. This extra can be booked separately and we will give you a complimentary bottle of wine with your first beach BBQ ordered.
When you can travel
Wild Lotus Camp is now closed for the season and will re-open on 23rd November 2020. We are still here working behind the scenes so if you have any questions just drop us an email. You can book your holiday anytime between 23rd November 2020 and 13th December 2021 subject to availability.
How to book
We know that many of you are not able to confirm travel dates right now. That’s fine. Once things become clearer just email us with your travel dates. We will check availability and send you a booking summary showing your dates and the costs with the 30% discount. The price quoted will remain valid for 14 days. If you are not able to book at that time, just keep in touch. We will send you another quote when things are clearer.
If you do want to go ahead and book, you can pay a 25% deposit for us to hold those dates for you. We can take a credit or debit card payments online.
Your booking is confirmed only when we receive payment in full. Your balance is due 8 weeks before your check in date. We will email your booking confirmation and invoice to you once payment is received and send you a reminder when the balance is due. Of course, we will keep in touch in the meantime.
What if I have to cancel?
Please rest assured that if travel restrictions are suddenly imposed up to 7 days before your check in date you can get a full refund. If travel restrictions are imposed within 7 days of travel, we will reschedule your dates. The 30% health carers discount will still be valid and applied to the future booking. Otherwise our normal cancellation policies here apply.
Let's keep in touch
